“Tales of” Series Has It All~!

countryvillain:

- awesome characters
- wonderful stories and meanings behind them
- hours of gameplay
- excellent role models, especially when it comes to parent- …er, well. maybe not parenting, seeing as most of them aren’t in the picture and those that are have several issues of their own like Will Raynard, Maylene Wilder, and Kratos Aurion….and most playable characters’ parents are dead or something.

so er…..Happy Mother’s Day, Tales of?

I’m mildly amused that I tried to breed a pair of dragons that happened to be named “Mint the Healer” and “Summon Spirit Maxwell” together and they refused.

It’s done.

Please stop embarrassing yourselves and the fandom by continuing to pester them about it. Even though they’ve said it plenty of times, even though Baba said it, no one listened.

The community manager for FB does read all the comments and stuff so if I was in his place, I would be be annoyed to keep receiving comments like this. Why should they continue to provide anything to us when people continued to be focused on one thing only? They are working hard and really out done themselves with Xillia yet in all the Xillia related posts, people continue to demand for TOVPS3.

It will not be done so please do not ask anymore.

I wonder if there’s anything we could do to show Namco that we really do appreciate all that they do for us and most of us aren’t like this (or at least I hope most of us aren’t like this).

I’m sure Namdai is aware that all of their fanbase doesn’t desire ToVPS3, so there’s not much to prove.

Many companies are aware that they vocal and annoying part is the minority, but they also are still people with feelings and thoughts and a capability to get annoyed, so this was 100% a way to get people to finally shut up about it.

It won’t work though.

but at least this crushes people’s hopes and dreams bless u based bamco

i’m a bad person

It’s perfectly fine to want it. It’s perfectly fine to be sad and disappointed that we won’t get it. I’m not a die-hard Vesperian and I would have rather liked to see it. It’s also fine to still be bothered by that incident with the logo during the ToGf reveal—that WAS complete bullshit and was just handled so badly.

But at this point, it’s far past time to accept that it’s not coming over and to move on.

If you don’t have a 360 and are complaining, either find a way to get a 360 (buy, borrow, I’ve HEARD some places somewhere may rent systems???) or accept that you can’t play it. That’s the entire POINT of an exclusive—to get you to buy that system. I mean, what makes you so much more special than the people pissed off about Graces and Xillia being PS3 because they don’t have a PS3?

IIRC The people who had a Wii but not a PS3 were told at times to just shut up because the Wii Graces wasn’t coming and to buy a PS3 or not play it. So why do the Vesperians get to be special and deserve it more? :/

Takes if Xillia CE preorderable in-store at GameStop!

Just switched mine over.

So at the library where I’m interning they’re one of the awesome ones that rent games.

THEY HAVE ABYSS 3DS.

I nearly squee’d with happy when I saw that.

Please. If we were to get Tales condoms, they would obviously have Asbel on them. Because, you know, protection.

Tales of Xillia now on GameStop’s website!

KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU MAY NOT YET BE ABLE TO PRE-ORDER IN STORE.

It took a day or two to be able to pre-order Pokemon X/Y in stores after they showed up on the site, ToX might be the same way.

I’ll be checking for sure when I pick up Ni no Kuni later.

they used to be all “no I don’t want it localized b/c people won’t get it they won’t like it like I do!!!!”
which is stupid by the way because people are free to interpret media as they see fit

I don’t think it’s stupid. Yes, everybody is 100% to make their own judgements and interpret media in their own way. But… It DOES hurt when you see people not just disliking a character you love, not just hating a character you love, but openly insulting them for stupid reasons and being hostile to anybody who likes that character. It’s one thing to like or hate a character. But there are a lot Of people in the Tales fandom who will be downright vicious to characters for the stupidest of reasons (or, worse, no reason at all) and to people who like them.I often feel that way with Emil. I love him to bits, and it hurts when people who don’t understand things about him just start attacking him without bothering to actually think about the reasons for what they dislike. (If you have a reason, that’s cool.)I mean, that’s their right, sure. But it still hurts and can make you feel uncomfortable. And it’s just sad to see some of the viciousness of the character hatred in this fandom. So, yes, people can understand characters as thy want. But I don’t think it’s stupid to not want to see a character you like or love subjected to that.
