It might also just be that I happen to have the bad luck to stumble upon them whenever something in a fandom I search for has a snake or dino-related post. XD
Like I said, it doesn’t usually happen often in each fandom—some I can only think of one or two instances—but it seems to happen at least once in every single fandom I like. XD
Of course, that’s also proooooobably because snakes and dinos are more popular among the people who produce the specific kind of fanwork that I’m looking for in the first place, buuuut it’s still annoying when it’s like an overload. XD

I suppose it’s just because snakes and dinos are fucking awesome.
But it gets a little annoying to see them pop up in pretty much EVERYTHING you like. Even if it’s rare in each instance, when you see them in everything it adds up and gets boring after a while.
